MICHELLE + ALAN’S IRISH AMERICAN WEDDING

Michelle & alan’s love story:

“Like all good Irish love stories, we met in an Irish pub. I was backpacking with friends through Europe and one of our last stops was in Ireland- to visit a dear college friend of ours. This friend brought us to a pub to meet some of his Irish buddies. Alan was one of those buddies. I instantly noticed how handsome he was and he says he noticed me too and was quite taken with me. BUT he was very shy and didn’t talk with any of us, which I misjudged as arrogance (oops!) and he thought I dressed funny (I was living my best life in hiking gear 24/7 lol). Fast forward 2 years later, Alan flew out to NJ for our mutual friend’s wedding, we hung out all week and a few months later started dating!”

their favorite part of the day":

I was (and still am!) in awe by how well our vendors worked together. Supporting each other and just overall gelling. It made the day feel like this beautiful team effort! My other favorite memory was the ceremony. I still get goosebumps thinking about it!! The beautiful tiled mosaic floor, the glass walls & ceiling, the fountain overflowing with peonies…and when all our guests sang the Doxology acapella - UNREAL. It felt like a slice of Heaven.
